Sweet, Sweeter and Sweetest. If we had to pick three words to describe this girl, it would be those! This dog is so gentle and submissive it's crazy. She does the cutest little squint with her eyes when you approach her and puts her gentle little face out for love. I am smitten with this dog and would totally keep her myself if I didnt' already have 7 of my own!
Yoga would make a tremendous companion for an older person or a senior. She is very low energy and absolutely loves to snuggle. She has the softest fur. She can be trusted left out alone, nothing is ever chewed or touched. She sleeps nicely on her dog bed at night but I'm sure she'd also enjoy a human bed with you! Yoga should not go to a family with little kids- we feel she would be very overwhelmed. She should have a quiet home where she is allowed to share her gentle, quiet nature about her.
Yoga was treated for heartworm. Our rescue paid to have her treated and also to have her leg xray'd. She was walking with a limp. It was determined that she has an old broken leg that healed on its own without veterinary intervention... how sad! Now one leg is a little shorter than the other and we can see that it is turned in a little at the joint. The vet said this doesn't seem to bother her and she will be okay.
Yoga is a sweet girl that plays well with other dogs. She would be great in a home with another dog.
