rescue groups or shelters. Individuals qualifying for HEAP, food stamps, medicaid, etc. also qualify for this program. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and our
services are offered at a greatly reduced rate.

A cat spay/neuter is $55.00 if already vaccinated or $58 if vaccines needed.
This includes FVRCP (distemper) vaccine, rabies vaccine (3 months or older),
Advantage flea control, and Pyrantel (Strongid) dewormer. Cats must be 8 weeks or 2
lbs.

A dog spay/neuter is $80.00 if already vaccinated or $83.00 if vaccines needed. This
includes DA2PPV (distemper/Parvo) vaccine, rabies vaccine (3 months or older),
Advantage flea control, and Pyrantel (Strongid) dewormer. Dogs must be 12 weeks or 3
lbs. Maximum weight (at this time) for dogs is 70 lbs. (this will change at a later

We also offer a variety of other services for an additional low cost (see attached
list of services).

We’re booking appointments for Monday- Friday. After August 1 we would like to
continue to book appointments for five days. However, if we are unable to fill five
days, Monday will be the day we’ll choose to close (only booking appointments on
Tuesday-Friday). We look forward to the possibility of spaying/neutering feral cats
(and a few other animals) on two Sundays a month.

Drop off time is between 8:00—8:30 am. Pick up time is 5 pm. Cats and dogs must
be in a carrier. Take dogs on a long walk morning of surgery as they will be in a
kennel all day!

Payment is due at the time of drop-off. At this time we only accept cash or checks
from rescue organizations or shelters but we will soon be able to accept credit
cards and the NYS Animal Population Control Voucher.

Do you have animals ready for spay or neuter? We have openings for next week and
anytime after that. Please call us at the number below to schedule an appointment.
If we’re not there just leave a message and we'll call you back.

We are physically located in Lackawanna but our mailing address is Blasdell. We’re

street from Kaczor Funeral Home.

From I-90 take Exit 56 (Milestrip Road/RT-179) towards Blasdell. Turn right onto
Milestrip Road and right onto South Park Avenue. We’re about two miles from the
Thruway exit — just past Blasdell Nursery on the left side of street.

If you’d like one of our brochures we’d be happy to send one to you. We look
forward to hearing from you.
